Update - 1/12/2020
We've deployed the new NDIS rates to all production environments.
Businesses that have created custom rates should be aware that these were not modified during this process. We recommend that businesses:
- review any custom rates related to NDIS pricing, and
- adjust their end dates as necessary.
We'll continue to monitor NDIA announcements for the next update.
Update - 30/11/2020
We've completed our development and testing of changes for the December pricing update. We've begun the process of updating production environments. To ensure that new rates are available as of the effective date and to minimise disruptions to business processes, we'll be finalising the rates update after the close of business today.
Update - 26/11/2020
We've completed our analysis of the December Price Guide and Support Catalogue and moved into the developing phase for this update.
We advise SIL providers that this update will not include support for the Irregular SIL Supports claim field, due to the nature of the change required to support this functionality.
Update - 25/11/2020
We've finished updating production environments to enable report writing claiming for psychosocial recovery coaching, as per the October pricing guide.
We're continuing to analyse the guides for the forthcoming December pricing.
So, we're back to one status on this page! Keep checking back for updates.
Update - 19/11/2020
As you may be aware, the NDIA has announced another - YES, ANOTHER! - price update, effective from 1 December 2020. We're aware of the announcement and we've begun to analyse the updated pricing guides.
We're also continuing to update production environments to enable report writing claiming for psychosocial recovery coaching, as per the October pricing guide.
So, for something slightly different, we're displaying two update statuses! Keep an eye on this page for more information.

We've begun to review the updated NDIS Price Guide and Support Catalogue that was released on 31 July 2020. The NDIA have made updates to help participants and providers meet current public health guidelines in New South Wales and Victoria.
We are currently analysing the required changes. We'll post an update to this page when we're ready to start updating production environments.
Update - 22/7/2020
We've applied an update to tidy up rates that the NDIA has modified since the release of the July 2020-21 pricing. This included:
- updating the travel, cancellation, non face-to-face and report writing settings for the new services that were added in the latest price guide
- changing the support category name for services listed as Coordination of supports to Support coordination
- correcting a typo in support item 09_799_0117_8_3 to 09_799_0117_6_3
- correcting the price limits for the Group Activities in a Centre – 1:5 – Standard service items, and
- adding the new Provider travel - non-labour costs – 01_799_0117_8_1 service item.
If you plan to use the new service item, you'll need to link the service to a site.
We'll continue to monitor NDIA announcements for further revisions or information about the next update.
Update - 3/7/2020
All changes have been applied to finalise and fix the loading of the new and updated rates.
As usual, to start using the rates for new services you’ll need to link the services to a site.
We'll continue to monitor NDIA announcements for the next update.
Update - 2/7/2020 - evening
We've begun to update production environments with the fix for the issue reported earlier today.
Update - 2/7/2020
URGENT NOTICE ** Updated **
During last night’s loading of the new rates, an error occurred that means that the July rates that were applied are slightly lower than the amount published by the NDIA. We’re working on a solution to this issue and aim to have it resolved within the next 24 hours.
Where possible, we encourage users to avoid creating service delivered (SD) records until this issue is resolved.
As part of the solution, we'll run a script to fix any service delivered (SD) records that have been created with incorrect rates. We therefore strongly encourage customers to avoid running an NDIS extract until the issue is resolved.
Update - 1/7/2020
We've begun to update production environments with the new rates.
Update - 29/6/2020
On Friday afternoon, the NDIA published the NDIS Price Guide 2020-21. However, our analysis revealed that the Support Guide is yet to be finalised. We’ve reached out to the NDIA and they’ve indicated that it won’t be ready until 1 July 2020. This affects the travel, cancellation, reporting and non-face-to-face settings on new services, and means that we’ll need to roll out the update in two phases. In phase one, we’ll:
- end-date March, March COVID and April COVID rates
- load the July rates for existing services, and
- add the new services with travel, cancellation, reporting and non-face-to-face options unchecked.
Once the NDIA releases the finalised support guide, we’ll apply phase 2 and adjust the travel, cancellation, reporting and non-face-to-face settings as per the guide.
We’re currently developing and testing our approach and aiming to make phase one available on 1 July. We’ll set our status to Updating once we begin , and post information to this page if there’s anything you need to do to start using the updated pricing.
Update - 26/6/2020
Group services
The NDIA has announced that “providers will be given 12 months to transition to the new pricing arrangements for group-based supports”. Our interim solution for these supports will therefore be to extend the end dates on the current rates so that they’re still available during the transition period. This will be applied via our usual pricing update process.
Our recommendation is to continue to use the old rates until a robust solution is available to support the new group and centre capital cost rates.
We’ll continue to work on our solution for the adoption of the new arrangements and let you know as soon as they’re available.
Supported independent living (SIL) services
Our interim solution for claiming for supported independent living (SIL) items using July 2020-21 pricing is now available in our Help Centre. In broad terms, we’re recommending that:
- service agreements be set up to automatically generate service delivered (SD) records
- a report be run each day to review which services have had SD records generated, and then
- any SD records where no service was delivered be modified prior to generating an NDIS extract.
We’ll add the new report to the production orgs of businesses planning to use this approach as part of the NDIS pricing update.
Claim supported independent living items using July 2020-21 pricing
To claim non face-to-face activities associated with SIL services, providers will need to create SD records from the Service Delivery Entry screen.
Create a service delivered record manually for a service agreement item
Update - 24/6/2020
We’ve reached out to the NDIA regarding the revised pricing and they’ve indicated that this may not be available until the new guides “go live”. We’re preparing for the possibility that we may not have the final pricing limits until 1 July.
In the meantime, we’re continuing to prepare and confirm advice for claiming for SIL and group services affected by new pricing rules. These explanations will be available soon.
Update - 22/6/2020
Supported independent living (SIL) and group support services
Based on our analysis, we have identified changes to SIL and group support services that will require complex modifications to the Lumary CM product. While we have begun planning a robust solution to accommodate these changes, this will not be available by 1 July 2020.
However, to ensure that you don’t miss out on claiming for either of these services, we’re developing interim solutions to make sure that you’ll be able to meet the NDIA’s claiming requirements.
We’ll post links on this page to explain these strategies as soon as they’re available.
New prices, updated cancellation rules, changed category name
Other changes identified in our analysis include:
- new prices
- updated cancellation rules, and
- a changed category name.
These changes will be applied via our usual pricing update process and made available for 1 July 2020.
Update - 12/6/2020
The Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has announced further changes to pricing that will come into effect from 1 July 2020. These adjustments relate to the NDIS coronavirus response. We're analysing the implications of these additional changes and factoring them into our planning.
Update - 3/6/2020
The NDIS have released an updated Price Guide and Support Catalogue that will come into effect from 1 July 2020. We are analysing the changes and planning our approach.
Update - 7/5/2020 (afternoon)
We've finished updating production environments with the new rates!
As usual, to start using the new rates you’ll need to link their services to a site.
We'll continue to monitor NDIA announcements for the next update.
Update - 7/5/2020 (morning)
We've begun to update production environments with the new rates.
We've included Apr COVID 19 in the rate name of the new rates so that they can be easily identified in the system.
There are 5 new services. However, the 2 AT Rental Products services can be delivered in 2 categories. If a participant does not have sufficient funding in the Assistive technology category, these services can be delivered in the Improved daily living skills category.
To make sure they're available in both categories, we've created an extra service and line item for each of these services. This means that 7 new services and their corresponding rates will be added with this update, all with an expiry date of 30th September 2020.
